When I write, I want to push the limits of the Sword & Sorcery genre while at the same time staying true to the spirit of fantasy adventure. Writing cliché, easily-marketable stories just isn’t my style.
We need good stories. Admirable heroes must struggle against terrifying villains. To me, fantasy is more than just escapism; it shows us how to slay the dragons in our own lives.
